Yuriy Hudymenko joined the Territorial Defense at the beginning of the russian full-scale invasion. He defended the Kyiv and Kharkiv directions. However, he was wounded later.

Yuriy was awarded the Order “For Courage” III degrees and the honorary badge “Steel Cross”
