The event is supported by the Embassy of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA) and Leonid Foundation. Based on real events, "Bucha" is a powerful story about a refugee from Kazakhstan who saved hundreds of Ukrainians from Bucha and other occupied Ukrainian territories. This feature film is a symbol that the fight is ongoing and we are incredibly proud to be a part of it. The film won second place in the audience vote among feature films presented at the 40th Warsaw International Film Festival in October 2024. It has been released on Netflix in Poland, Ukraine, and other countries in Europe and is ranked first amongst top 10 films to watch. The screening will be followed by a special press conference and Q&A session with the film's producer and writer Oleksandr Shchur.
