About the Speaker

Maria Berlinska, an esteemed figure in military innovation, founded the Ukrainian Centre for Aerial Reconnaissance in 2015. This initiative trains military volunteers in aerial reconnaissance, utilizing drones to enhance their effectiveness in combat situations. Maria’s service in the "Aidar" battalion and her founding of the "Invisible Battalion" highlight her commitment to integrating women into military roles and advocating for their rights. In 2018, she played a pivotal role in establishing The Women's Veterans Movement, further supporting female veterans and servicewomen. Her "Victory Drones" project collaborates with the Ukrainian Armed Forces to provide advanced training and resources, demonstrating significant contributions to Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
